Her album, Genre-Specific Experience is truly testing our organizing skills as we have placed her in almost every genre or playlist. Blending all sorts of unorthodox and addicting vibes (juke, hip hop, dubstep, electro-tropicalia, and ’90s Gregorian trance) together to provide a sound that we like to describe as the soundtrack for Cocktails or another cheesy 80’s movie, if it were created by a witch house producer with Islamic roots. Yeah, weird but so so good.

This morning we sat on the front porch in a rocking chair, I on his lap, wrapped up in a blanket he’d knitted from wool he spun from the neighbor’s sheep. We watched the sun rise and he said, ‘I wonder if the sun knows how lucky he is to shine on your beautiful face every day’. A single tear marked his cheek.

We attended the grand opening of Mexicali Taco & Co. last night, and we weren’t the only ones with the same idea cause it was a full house! Special shout out to the “Vampiro” and the “Zuperman”…just allow the names to be an indication of how much flavor is packed into these dishes.

Special thanks to Them Jeans for hipping us to this release. We were familiar with the Sydney based duo but this track has just blown us away. Moderation is also a solo project for Jordon Fellar, one of the two members of Light Year. Although the other half of Light Year, Michael Melas AKA Mik Tha Menace is missing…this track is amazing. If the rest of the EP sounds anything like Moderation …I can gaurantee we will not be listening to it in moderation!…sorry for the pun
